Opportunity Manager renamed as "Care Manager" Available from EXACT v12.9, where it was called "Opportunity Manager", this feature has been renamed in v12.10 to "Care Manager". Purpose: Use it to maximise practice revenue by pro-actively securing bookings from those patients with open treatment plans / courses of treatment. Note that if you installed the v12.9 version, on upgrade to v12.10 or later you will need to re-configure the workspace bar to display the Care Manager icon - see Adding the Care Manager button to the workspace bar

Marketing Consent prompt in the Appointment Workflow In the Appointment Workflow, Receptionists can be prompted to collect Marketing Consent (Permissions) by means of both the Arrivals Tasklist and the Departure Tasklist. This is a default setting, but can be disabled in the Marketing Consent Configuration. By collecting marketing consent the practice complies with increasingly strict rules around patient data collection and management, as formulated in The Spam Act 2003

Clinipad Marketing (Contact) Consent It is becoming increasingly important to solicit the patient's consent before sending them marketing communications from your practice. In the UK this consent is compulsory, with legal implications. From v12.10 you can configure the Arrivals Task List to prompt Receptionists to obtain patient consent from those patients who have not yet provided it. The Clinipad version of that consent is an editable text document that can span up to 3 Clinipad pages. The patient sees Marketing Consent as "Contact Consent" on Clinipad:

Merge fields for patient Preferred Location The patient's preferred location has been added as a new merge field, enabling sites with multiple locations to auto-generate patient recalls per Location. They are derived from the completed Pref Location field in each patient's Details tab, but are not available if Locations is disabled. The merge fields can be used in Email, SMS and EasyPost Letters: «patient.PreferredLocationName» «patient.PreferredLocationAddress1» «patient.PreferredLocationAddress2» «patient.PreferredLocationAddress3» «patient.PreferredLocationPostCode» «patient.PreferredLocationPhone»

Appointment Search - multiple Providers The Provider dropdown menu in Appointment Search now includes multiple Providers. Practitioners can search by "Any Provider" or by a selected single Provider, who does not necessarily need to be the patient's Preferred Provider, as recorded in the Patient File.
