Multi-location Appointment Search With multiple Locations and Rooms configured, Receptionists can search for the best bookings for a patient's preferred Provider or any other Provider, regardless of which Location that Provider is practicing. With multiple locations configured without Rooms, Receptionists can search by Provider Preferred Location across all Locations. Receptionists can also offer a wider range of appointment options for multiple Providers across multiple Locations.

Service item Search in Services List tab and Base tab The Search is a means of locating and highlighting a single service item within the Service List tab or Base tab. The search applies across all configured Service Categories. The Search results display in a separate window, from where you can locate the service item. A simple double-click then locates this item in the Service List tab or Base tab, from where you can then apply it to the chart / treatment area as normal.

Charting permissions for the Show All service categories This relates to the services that can be applied by user groups in the Chart tab tooth chart and treatment planning area. The Show All services category for both the Service List tab and Base tab is now controlled by security settings, as highlighted in the image at left. By default access is allowed for all user groups. For example, here a user is in a user group that has the default settings for the Base tab: However, for particular user groups your practice can optionally un-check the Show All security checkboxes and then configure more strategically restricted service categories for those user groups.

Performance improvement: Slow chart loading in v12.10 with EXAMINE Pro Only for EXAMINE Pro users who experience issues with chart loading. In EXACT v12.10 users reported that on specific computers the patient chart window takes a long time to load (up to 15 seconds) when there are many images associated with that patient, and that EXACT is frozen/unusable during this period. This situation was often associated with accessing multiple images quickly, and switching between patients quickly. EXACT v12.11 has an interim workaround that can be enabled just for these computers by Superusers such as Support Desk personnel. If this issue applies to you, please contact your Support Desk and ask that your computer be set to EXAMINE Pro Async Mode. Async Mode may be enabled by default for all users in future EXACT versions.

Small changes in the logic of the Appointment Analysis Report This report has been updated. Historically the Co-duty appointment New patients were counted against both Providers (Dentist and Hygienist), but from v12.11 this will appear only against the Dentist, with the time/cost still appearing against the Hygienist, if the Hygienist is included in the report. The other columns count for both Dentist and Hygienist, but only Total at the bottom for one or the other (Dentist or Hygienist).
