Relocated Medical History settings

Some configuration options have been moved to the Medical History Configuration window. These settings are unchanged but are now located more logically with the other medical history options.

The following user-specific medical settings have been moved from the Configure > User Settings window to the Medical History Configuration window:

- Med Alert flashing

- Open Medical History on 'Move to Chair'

Advanced Medical History Form

There is now an Advanced option for the Medical History Form, with both print and Clinipad versions.

It features questions with three answer options: Yes, No and Don't know.

It has new fields for Hearing or Sight Impairment, Depression, Stroke, Nervous Problems, Tuberculosis, Severe Headaches and Cold Sores.

This Advanced Form can be specified for use from the Medical History Configuration screen.

Clinipad - patient signature and Dentist counter-signature options

For Clinipad there is now a Dentist option to require that the Medical History be reviewed in the surgery, and if so, whether the Dentist's counter-signature is required on the form.

This is a setting per Dentist. It applies to Clinipad only. It may change the Clinipad workflow in the practice, depending which options are configured per Dentist.

Return Clinipad sessions without leaving your current screen

You can still go to the main window to return a Clinipad session, but the Clinipad return menu has been modified to be more convenient.

It is now available to all users, and it enables you to Return a Clinipad session from any screen, without leaving that screen.

Simply click the down arrow beside the Clinipad icon in the workspace bar, and select the Clinipad to return for your area (as in the image at left).

Mark Medical History Forms as Reviewed

Each time a Provider or a Nurse opens an existing medical history form on screen or in Clinipad, they have an option to mark the medical history as Reviewed, irrespective of whether it has been edited.

Review actions are recorded in the medical records and may be listed by means of the Show Audit checkbox.

Providers have the option to simultaneously Save a new/edited form and also mark it as Reviewed.

Option to print or run Patient Statement for selected Provider(s) only

You can now choose whether the statement produced for a patient shows

- The Total Owing for the patient (default), or

- The amount owing just for the selected Provider(s)

This is especially useful if you generate statements with the amount per Provider(s) for those patients whose insurance companies require a breakdown of the work/amounts that each Provider has carried out.

This feature enables practices to specify which rooms apply to online booking (Online Booking Website Builder only)

Practices often use Rooms for non-booking purposes.

Prior to v11.10 these practices could not benefit from online booking because they needed to set Schedule to Rooms in the appointment book setup wizard, and this stopped any times from being uploaded to the online booking site.

The Use Rostered Available Time (Rooms) checkbox enables these practices to properly use online bookings.
