The Coduty Grid
The Coduty Grid is a timeline of the patient appointment, allowing you to define which type of provider is required for each part of the appointment.
To make appointment booking as automated as possible this information is usually pre-defined for each appropriate service such as EXH (exam followed by hygienist) or HEX (hygienist followed by exam). However, you can manually override this automation to accommodate individual patient requirements.
EXACT restricts charting time on the grid to a maximum of 4-6 hours, depending on the appointment book's time interval setting:
The grid remains viewable and editable irrespective of the window scaling.
The Text size user setting will have a similar effect to changing screen resolution sizes where a larger text size will draw a larger coduty grid, similar to a higher screen resolution.
To define appointments (in red) on the grid for both dentist and hygienist:
The Coduty grid block size/duration is equivalent to the appointment time interval setting for your appointment book (this value can be set from 5 to 30 minutes).
Single left-click the blocks of time or hold your left mouse button and drag the mouse cursor over the blocks of time.
Drag the edges of blocks to extend them:

You can stagger appointments (they don't have to be continuous):
When you save the appointment the blocks appear in the Appointment Book:
To add more than one service to the appointment
Enter each service code with a comma between services, e.g., HEX,SP,FR.
