View Month Area

This area displays an overview of booking information for the selected provider.

The ‘View Month’ area easily identifies:

• Available appointment time
• Blocked time
• Clinic time
• Booked time.

The +/- 4 w buttons move forward/backward 4 weeks.

The +/- 6 m buttons move forward/backward 27 weeks (27 weeks rather than 26, to avoid users accidentally booking two appointments within a 6 month period (Note insurance rules)).

This behaviour ensures that the current weekday (as selected in the week view area) is also selected when you move forward/backward,

So, for example, if you're currently looking at a Friday, pressing these buttons will move to a Friday.

The behaviour of the similarly named buttons on the view months window is the same.

To Display a Provider's 'View Month' Area

1. From the required provider's ‘Provider Bar’, click on the button to open the ‘View Month’ window similar to the example displayed below:

   

2. Each week is displayed horizontally across the screen (Mon – Sun) from the date on the left.
3. Each day within the week is displayed as an individual grid divided into hours.
4. The selected day in the ‘View Day’ area is encased in a box and the day and date is displayed in the lower right hand corner
5. Booked or blocked time is displayed in the colour set for the appointment book
6. ‘Un-booked’ or available time is displayed in the predefined colour
7. ‘Un-booked’ or available time (such during Clinics) are displayed in green
8. To move the’ View Month’ display forward or back in time, use the buttons on the right.
9. To display the patients booked for a particular day, double-click on that date in the grid or highlight the required date in the grid and click the ‘OK’ button. Click ‘Cancel’ to return to the previous window.
