Customising a Clinipad logo

This applies to Clinipad installations from EXACT v12.13 PF1 onwards.

NOTE: It is not possible to replace the background as for Clinipad builds before v12.13 PF1.

USING TRANSPARENCY: The logo is in .PNG format, which supports transparency, so you can optionally make areas of the logo transparent.
Procedures for using transparency depend on your graphics software, but common methods are to "paint" areas with a transparency wand/brush (as in the free Paint.net raster graphics software), or to overlay the created logo on a transparent layer before saving (as in the free Inkscape vector graphics software). Please refer to your graphic program Help for procedures.
There is no need to scale the image, as Clinipad does this for you. A larger size is beneficial for landscape mode.

To customise a Clinipad logo (logo.png)

  1. Prepare the logo image with these characteristics:
  2. Locate the Clinipad install folder on a computer (the install is not necessarily on the server). By default the folder is C:\Clinipad.
  3. Create a folder under the Clinipad install folder, and name it custom.
  4. Copy the logo.png file into the custom folder.
  5. Restart the application on the Clinipad devices and check if the logo appears.
  6. If the logo doesn't appear, restart Clinipad services, or restart the computer on which Clinipad services are installed.

No need to edit the logo on future Clinipad upgrades

If you have a functional logo in Clinipad, on future upgrades it should continue to function.

If for some reason it doesn't function, please repeat the above procedure to customise the logo.
