To troubleshoot an EXACT server installation if there is a problem
In order to better diagnose and report back any issues that occur with an EXACT deployment here are the elements of a successful EXACT Server installation.
Check executables (.exe) location
EXACT executables located in <target folder> (usually C:\Program Files\Software of Excellence\EXACT Server).
Check location of framework components
Check that framework components are located in <target folder>\Soeidental
Shared EXACTResources folder
A folder <target folder>\EXACTResources should be automatically shared:

WorkstationInstaller folder
The folder <target folder>/EXACTResources/WorkstationInstaller should include these files:
Shipped Demo
For new installations only the shipped demo should be located in the selected data folder (for updates the existing data folders should remain unaffected).
By default this is C:\Program Data\Software of Excellence\EXACT Server
Windows Services installed and set to start on system startup
Windows services can be monitored through Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
The following three Windows Services should be installed and set to start on system startup:
Registry Key
A registry key and value should be written to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Software of Excellence\EXACT Workstation\Install Root with its value set to the target folder of the EXACT Server installation (visible by running regedit).
Windows Firewall Exceptions
Exceptions can be managed and seen from Control Panel > Windows Firewall > Exceptions Tab
Five Windows Firewall Exceptions should be present:
Uninstalling
IMPORTANT! If you need to uninstall EXACT, you need to uninstall the workstation(s) before uninstalling the server software.
