Search and Change Wizard

Purpose:

This wizard enables you to search for specific patient records and change them:

IMPORTANT: There is no way to undo the changes made by this wizard, apart from reloading the database from the latest backup, so do not run this wizard until all other users have logged out of EXACT, and your system has been successfully backed up.

To open the Search and Change Wizard

Requires administrator-level security priviledges.

1. Select Administration > Search and Change... to open the Search and Change window

   

   

2. Select Next >
3. Follow the prompts to perform the following types of Search and Change:

• Change patients and/or appointments for provider who has left
• Change patients to a new payor
• Change patients to inactive status
• Transfer booked appointments for provider having time off
• Set patient contact preferences and SMS status
