In order to make the settings windows easier to use, and more closely aligned with their functions, some of them have been renamed and ‘tweaked’ slightly:
The ‘System Parameters’ window is now called ‘Practice Settings’, and contains practice-specific settings.
The ‘Local Parameters’ window is now called ‘User Settings’, and contains only those parameters and settings pertinent to users; other functions have been moved to more relevant locations. Settings on this screen will follow a user around the practice, so wherever they log in these settings will be used.
There is a new window for computer-related settings, called ‘Computer Settings’.
You can now set these settings for users and computers from anywhere on the network, and don't need to go to each computer to make the changes.
