Adding appointments when Cancelling appointments

To add a patient appointment to the Short Notice List at the time of cancelling an appointment

1. Right-click the appointment and select Cancel Appointment...

   

   A Cancellation window displays:

   

2. From the Cancellation dialogue, select the Short Notice List button .
3. To confirm, check the list by clicking on the Short Notice List icon or looking at the Short Notice List tab.

   IMPORTANT: If you add multiple Short Notice List appointments to this list for a Patient, a maximum of two will show at a time. This provides users the option of booking one appointment ahead of another if no sequence issue exists, and shows them both appointments so that they can make this judgement call.
