Image Tools

This enhancement to the Image Viewer in EXAMINE Pro provides you with some new tools to view, manipulate and edit x-ray and other images attached to patient charts.

Apart from the multiple image options introduced in Version 10.5 (double and quadrant image display), you can also edit image information and add/edit up to two lines of notes via the button, and resizing the Image Viewer window to any size is now easier.
There is also a new image control toolbox button . This allows you to do the following:

1. Change (zoom) the image size (smaller or larger than original), using a slider control, or the scroll wheel on your mouse (if fitted).
2. Change the colour of the image.
3. Invert the image's colours.
4. Rotate the image left or right.
5. Show a horizontal or vertical mirror image of the original.
6. Sharpen or soften (blur) the image.
7. Despeckle the image.
8. Optimise greyscale images (e.g., x-rays) to improve contrast.
