Licence Files
The EXACT Orasphere product is controlled by licences. For each PC that runs EXACT Orasphere a licence file is created, that is specific to that PC alone, and contains information such as details of the PC's hardware, the EXACT Orasphere installation directory, when EXACT Orasphere was installed and whether it has been activated.
The licence file is encrypted and will not work if moved or changed in any way.
For this reason, if for some reason you need to replace a PC, you will need to contact Software of Excellence and obtain a replacement licence file. This will then need to be activated.
Serial Numbers
Each PC that uses EXACT Orasphere must have an activation key applied to the licence file in order to use it beyond the 30-day free evaluation period. This is done by purchasing a serial number from Software of Excellence which can be used to activate up to four PCs, each of which must be individually activated.
Activation Key
Once a serial number is purchased, it is used to obtain an activation key, which can activate up to four PCs. For each PC to be activated, the activation key modifies the licence file so that it allows the PC to run EXACT Orasphere.
Other Numbers
As part of the activation, the process uses the purchased serial number, and Installation Codes which relate to the licence file on each PC.
