16-Surface charting is an optional setting that enables charting at a finer granularity than normal charting, makes possible charting of occlusal fillings without the tooth cusps, and provides more treatments per tooth than normal 5-8 surface charting.

16-surface charting is fully compatible with normal charting. It can be mixed with normal charting between patients, between Providers, and even between the teeth on a single patient's chart.

It is available from EXACT version 11.
